What is Profit AI
Profit AI is an FP&A suite built for Shopify. It connects to your ad platforms and your store, pulls everything into one place, and uses AI to help you figure out what's actually profitable. Everything updates in real time, so you can make budget decisions in a few minutes instead of spending your morning in spreadsheets.

What is Profit AI
If you run a Shopify store and you advertise on Meta or Google, you already know the workflow.
You log into Shopify. You look at revenue. You log into Meta. You look at spend. You log into Google. More spend. Then you open a spreadsheet and try to figure out if any of it was profitable.
And you do this every week. Sometimes every day. For every store, every campaign, every channel.
I think most people underestimate how much time this takes. It's one of those things that feels like ten minutes but it's actually forty five minutes, and by the time you're done the numbers are already stale because you spent your morning building the report instead of acting on it.
That's why we built Profit AI.
What it actually is
Profit AI is a financial planning and analysis suite built for Shopify. It connects to your store, connects to your ad platforms, and pulls spend, revenue, and performance data into one dashboard. Updated in real time. So when you open it in the morning, the math is already done.
I want to be clear about what this actually means in practice, because "dashboard" is one of those words that people hear and immediately think of something they'll never look at.
The core idea is that your profitability data should live in one place. And it should be current. And you should be able to look at it and make a decision in a few minutes.
The problem it solves
Right now most stores are stitching this together manually. Revenue from Shopify, spend from Meta, spend from Google, maybe TikTok too. COGS data from somewhere else. Shipping costs from somewhere else. And the spreadsheet that ties it all together is maintained by whoever remembered to update it last.
That spreadsheet is the source of truth for your business. And it's usually two days old.
Profit AI replaces that spreadsheet. It pulls from all of your platforms automatically and gives you a real time view of where you stand. Profit by campaign. Profit by channel. Profit by product. However you want to slice it.
The AI layer
This is where it gets interesting. We're connecting frontier AI models to your actual store data. So the AI can look at your campaigns, look at your margins, look at your performance over time, and give you recommendations.
Which campaigns should you scale. Which ones should you pause. Where is your money going further. Where is it getting weaker.
These are the questions you're already asking yourself every week. You're usually answering them with gut feel and a spreadsheet that's a few days behind. Profit AI answers them with your actual numbers, in real time.
Why speed matters
I think the thing people miss about profitability tracking is that speed matters.
If you find out a campaign is unprofitable on Friday, and that campaign has been running since Monday, you just burned four days of spend. If you find out on Monday morning at 8am, you save four days of spend.
And that difference compounds over time. Across every campaign. Across every channel. Across every store.
What it connects to
The tool connects to everything you're already using. Shopify, Meta, Google, Slack, Gmail, Notion, whatever your stack looks like. It brings the data together. It does the math. And it uses AI to help you figure out what to do next.
For agencies
There's a multi-client dashboard so you can see all of your stores in one place. Onboarding new stores is fast. And the reports are clean enough that you can share them with clients and they'll actually understand what they're looking at.
I think the thing people underestimate about agency retention is how much of it comes down to reporting. When your client can see the numbers clearly, they trust you. When they trust you, they stick around. And your business compounds.
For store owners
It means you're spending less time building reports and more time making decisions. And the decisions you're making are based on numbers that are current, not numbers from three days ago.
Every Shopify store has the same fundamental question. Is this profitable. And every store answers that question in roughly the same way, which is manually, slowly, and with incomplete information.
We built Profit AI because that felt like something that should have been solved already.
